Article III: Ratification
This section shall be used to ratify the Financial Policy of Alpha Zeta Chapter, shall it fall from Active status and needs to return to full Active status in Alpha Phi Omega.
Section 1: Submission to Membership
This Financial Policy shall be submitted, in writing, to the membership of the University of Kentucky Petitioning Group of Alpha Phi Omega at least two weeks prior to the time when the ratification vote is to be taken. At the same time, an announcement of the date, time, and location of the ratification meeting shall be made, in writing, to the Active Membership.
Section 2: Ratification Procedure
These Financial Policies shall be ratified by an affirmative vote of at least two-thirds of the Active Members present at the Ratification Meeting, provided that this majority constitutes at least half of the total Active membership of the University of Kentucky Petitioning Group. The ratification vote shall be taken by roll-call.
Section 3: Effects
Upon ratification, these bylaws shall replace the interim constitution of the University of Kentucky Petitioning Group of Alpha Phi Omega. They shall become the Financial Policy of the Alpha Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega at the moment the Chapter attains Active status.
